Es werden Sponsoren und Spender für 5000 Spatzen-Doppelhäuser zu 29,9 Euro gesucht. Nach der Deutsche Wildtier Stiftung und Bezirksamt Hamburg Mitte "Es sind die glatten Fassaden moderner Häuser, die für den Spatz den Tod bedeuten (...) Mit jeder Altbausanierung wird den Vögeln der Raum zum Brüten genommen. (...) Aber noch etwas anderes setzt dem Spatz zu: der Mangel an Nahrung für die Brut. Bis zu 250 Ameisen, Blattläuse, Käfer und Würmer, benötigen Spatzen täglich, um die hungrigen Mäuler im Nest zu stopfen. Doch da in Hamburg heimische Sträucher und Hecken selten geworden sind, gestaltet sich die Suche nach Futter immer schwieriger. Wissenschaftler sehen als Ursache fürs Verschwinden der Spatzen die elektromagnetischen Felder aus dem Bereich der Hochfrequenz (Hf). Die Mobilfunkstrahlung setzt den Spatzen zu ! Aber nicht nur den Spatzen. Auch Insekten z.B, Mücken überleben die Strahlung nicht. Noch vor paar Jahren konnte man in Hamburg kleine Kästchen für Steckdose kaufen. Solche Schachteln eingeschaltet strahlten elektromagnetische Impulse aus und schützten vor Mücken. Heute braucht man solche Schachteln gegen Mücken nicht mehr. In Hamburg Mitte gibt es keine Mücken.. Die Grafik der Bestandsentwicklung der Spatzen im Bezirk Hamburg Mitte zeigt, dass von 1983 bis 2000 also in 17 Jahren sich die Spatzenpopulation in Bezirk Hamburg -Mitte halbierte. Von 2000 bis 2007 d.h. innerhalb von 7 Jahren die Population der Spatzen verkleinerte sich um das vierfache!  Seit 2000 wird Hamburg unkontrolliert und willkürlich mit Mobilfunkanlagen und anderen Quellen der gepulsten elektromagnetischen Feldern aus dem Bereich der Hochfrequenz dicht zugedeckt.  A Possible Effect of Electromagnetic Radiation from Mobile Phone Base Stations on the Number of Breeding House Sparrows (Passer domesticus)Joris Everaert and Dirk Bauwens Research Institute for Nature and Forest, Brussels, Belgium 22.01.2008 full file, .pdf, 252,8 KB A possible effect of long-term exposure to low-intensity electromagnetic radiation from mobile phone (GSM) base stations on the number of House Sparrows during the breeding season was studied in six residential districts in Belgium. We sampled 150 point locations within the 6 areas to examine small-scale geographic variation in the number of House Sparrow males and the strength of electromagnetic radiation from base stations. Spatial variation in the number of House Sparrow males was negatively and highly significantly related to the strength of electric fields from both the 900 and 1800MHz downlink frequency bands and from the sum of these bands (Chi2-tests and AIC-criteria, P < 0.001). This negative relationship was highly similar within each of the six study areas, despite differences among areas in both the number of birds and radiation levels. Thus, our data show that fewer House Sparrow males were seen at locations with relatively high electric field strength values of GSM base stations and therefore support the notion that long-term exposure to higher levels of radiation negatively affects the abundance or behavior of House Sparrows in the wild. There were several comments read about cell phone towers and then host, Kevin Sylvester introduced Dr. Bridget Stutchbury the author of a book entitled Silence of the Songbirds harpercollins.ca/songbirds/. Kevin asked Dr. Stutchbury - "We were talking earlier about electro magnetic radiation, what kinds of effects have you noticed or found out about that on songbirds"? Dr. Stutchbury's answer was a shock to me, she stated "As far as we know there is no impact on birds, they can't even detect them". Although most of my files on electro magnetic radiation concern the terrible health effects on the human population, I have attached several documents which clearly show that a great many species of birds are being severely harmed by electro magnetic radiation, all around the world. I found it shocking that the author, a biologist, educated at Yale could be so very much mistaken about how birds are being harmed by electro magnetic radiation. She has provided incorrect information to a large percentage of the population of Canada! It is vitally important for the Canadian public to be presented with the true facts about how birds are being harmed by this dangerous new technology.
